The ambition of many Sea Cadets is to go to sea in the Sea Cadet Corps flagship TS ROYALIST, a two masted square-rigged ‘Brig’. A small fleet of smaller yachts are a popular attraction for the potential offshore racing sailor. ROYALIST takes part in the ‘Tall Ships’ race. An activity that will provide a skill for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. But if you've got a taste for power, we can give you the experience of a lifetime aboard our latest addition to the offshore fleet, our purpose built seagoing vessel TS JOHN JERWOOD. She's a 75 foot motor-ship kitted out with all the latest technology for sea training from seamanship and ship handling to navigation and marine engineering. A £1.2 million gift from The Jerwood Foundation our new pride and joy is in service now, with a second similar vessel, TS. Jack Petchey, currently under construction. So check out the programme and book your place for a voyage of discovery. | ||||||||||
